Bring your own key
Connect an AI
Some games can deepen with a large language model — the prose gets personal, never the stakes. It's entirely optional: every game is fully playable with no key at all.
Not connected.
1 · The boundary you're crossing
Connecting a key changes how these games talk to the outside world. Here's exactly what happens — no small print.
- Your key stays on this device. It's saved only in this browser. It never reaches a Playsistence server — we don't run one — and it's never sent to the game itself.
- The call goes straight to the provider. When a game asks for an AI line, this site calls your chosen provider directly from your browser, with your key, and passes only the text back to the game.
- You're paying the provider, not us. Usage bills your own account under the provider's terms. Start with a free tier if you want to spend nothing.
- What you type may be sent. A prompt can include words you typed in the game; those go to the provider you chose, under their privacy terms.
- It only adds flavor. The AI never changes what happens in a game — no outcome, no score, no unlock depends on it. With a key or without, you can finish everything.

2 · What's an AI key, and where do I get one?
An API key is a private string a provider gives you so apps can use your account. Pick a provider below — each links to where you create a key. Gemini has a free tier, so it's the no-cost way to start.
3 · Connect
AI-enabled games show a ✨ tag. The first is Utopia 2.0 — connect a key and the Council's confessions are spoken about your game.
