What this site is

Playsistence is an experimental AI game site: a collection of small browser games and art experiments about consciousness, identity, and life with artificial minds. It is a personal, non-commercial project offered free of charge. By using it you accept these terms.

The AI part — read this one

Some games include optional AI-powered modes. By using them, you understand and agree that information you provide in those modes — the text you type, the choices you make, the game state around them — is used by AI systems to create the experience. In bring-your-own-key modes, that information is sent from your browser directly to the AI provider whose key you supplied (Google, Anthropic, or OpenAI), and their terms and privacy policies govern that processing. Your API key is yours: keep it spend-capped, don't share it, and revoke it when you're done. You are responsible for your use of your own provider account.

AI-generated content is generated, not authored: it can be wrong, strange, or unexpected. That's part of what the experiments explore. Don't treat anything an AI character says here as advice of any kind.

Who can use it

Playsistence is a general-audience site intended for people 13 and older. It is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your saves, your device

Game progress is stored in your own browser and can be exported to a file you keep. We provide no cloud saves and no guarantee that browser-stored progress persists — export anything you'd mind losing.

Ownership

The site, its games, and their art and text are © 2026 Craig Allen. All Rights Reserved. You're welcome to play, link, screenshot, and stream; you may not republish the games themselves or present them as your own. Third-party components remain under their own licenses, credited per game.

No warranty, plainly

This is a free experimental hobby site provided “as is,” with no warranties and no promise of uptime, fitness, or that any game will remain available. To the maximum extent the law allows, Craig Allen is not liable for damages arising from use of the site. Some things may break; tell us and we'll try to fix them.

Changes

These terms may change as the site grows (for example, if memberships ever exist). The “last updated” date above moves when they do; continued use after a change means acceptance.
